We have a tradition that every year, in the Spring, we host a little
tea party for all of the girls and ladies that live in Musanze. (I
blogged about last year
here)
We have a collection of tea cups and saucers that have either been
passed down from grandparents or great grandparents, or purchased from
unique places around the world. Everyone brings a little food, we have
flowers set on the tables, and, of course, tea. This year’s menu
included scones, sandwiches, cookies, deviled eggs, shortcake, and
pavlova. It was all so delicious. We even had some family visiting us
(another post about their visit later), which made it even more special.
I’m so thankful to have all of these ladies in my life, and I’m going
to miss our little tea parties and get togethers next year.
