Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Milkshakes

Milkshake:
  • 1 1/4 c. Milk
  • 4 c. Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 c. Cookie Dough (see below)
  • 1/2 c. Chocolate Chips

Cookie Dough: (or use your favorite cookie dough recipe sans eggs)

  • 3/4 c. Butter
  • 1 1/4 c. Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 c. Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 c. Milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 2 c. + 2 T. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:

  • Start by making your cookie dough. Combine the shortening with the sugars and salt and mix in your stand mixer. Then mix in your milk and vanilla, and then slowly add the flour. Once combined, if too dry, add in 2 Tbsp of water, 1 Tbsp at a time.
  • Next, add your cookie dough (minus chocolate chips) to the rims of your glasses and then immediately roll in chocolate chips and place in the freezer to harden. (This step is optional, it just makes them look really cool)
  • Next, make your milkshake. Combine milk, ice cream, 1 cup of cookie dough, and ½ cup of chocolate chips in your blender and blend.
  • Pour milkshake into each glass, and enjoy!

Amelia Grace // 2017 Senior

For those of you who don't know, I have my own Photography Business. (shameless plug right there) Anyways, earlier this summer, I got to do some senior portraits for a few of my friends, and it was so much fun. Seriously. Anytime you combine gardens, flower crowns, gorgeous light, and gorgeous friends, it makes for a wonderful afternoon.
